Blackout is an actual curtain while Block out is a detachable lining that you attach to any curtain or to a separate rail behind any curtain.

Polyester
Polyester is a man-made fiber. It's very resilient and can withstand a good deal of wear and tear. Less fading: Polyester holds dye well to prevent fading, but doesn't produce as “rich” of a colour as cotton. High-quality polyester holds its shape well and doesn't shrink.
